I went here for me and my boyfriend’s 2nd anniversary and it was the most perfect getaway that we wanted! For a tiny home, they made the space feel bigger than it was. They put so many details from the card with champagne to the Christmas lights. It was so peaceful with a beautiful scenery, and the stores in town and restaurant she recommended were great! We wouldn’t have been able to find it if it weren’t for her super clear instructions how’s to get there! She is also very quick with her responses for any questions. Every moment was so special, highly recommend staying here!

We loved everything about our stay!! We really needed this last minute getaway and Emily was very accommodating! The place is beautiful just like in the photos everything was so clean and comfortable and there were a bunch of goodies and chocolates everywhere! The hot tub was amazing so fresh and clean . We stayed here right after our wedding to get away for just us time and peace and quiet. Was the perfect minimoon for us. You can also tell Emily and Gabe care for their guests with the amount of detail that went into this place. Not only with decorations but detail on the interior like the comfortable mattress, heated floors and toilet seat. The views in the morning with the wildlife was also incredible, we found ourselves just laying in bed watching the deer and turkey. The hot tub was also super relaxing. If you’re thinking about booking this place just do it, you won’t regret it.

Such a cute introduction to Fall. We loved walking up to the pumpkins surrounding the home. It was perfect for my boyfriend and I to take a nice, private, and relaxing weekend away. The views were beautiful and we saw many deer and other animals roaming around. The outside fireplace was a hit. We cooked and went to Utica for dinner (we went to Motus - highly recommend). The hot tub was good as well. We just overall loved it and it was inspiring because we are interested in the shipping container home concept. Thanks for a warm and welcome stay!

Sleek little container house. Clean & well appointed. Patio and hot tub expand the space, though we couldn’t bear to be outside for too long our first night there, the mosquitoes were so bad. (The region has had a lot of rain recently and the yard around the house was flooded; that plus the ponds elsewhere on the grounds meant lots of standing water.) Note there is a huge Queen Anne style mansion just yards away and visible from the patio, which wasn’t clear from the listing or photos. Also no mention of the grounds being under construction. Though no work was done during our stay, our back windows looked out on 2 dumpsters, the smaller of which was overfilled with trash. (That one was removed after we complained.) We were expecting a secluded stay with scenic views, so it was disappointing. For the price we expected a better experience. Emily did offer to let us cancel our second night, but it wasn’t worth the hassle of finding another place last minute for just one night.

This place was beyond our expectations, we truly had a wonderful time. From beginning to end it was a peaceful experience leaving us feeling so serene, we had a hard time departing. The host really kept the place sparkling clean and they stocked the place up with delicious nosh, games and all. Our stay was amazing. The location is stunning, and it was very easy to settle in when we got there. I love how organized and clutter free the place is, one of my biggest peeves on vacation is clutter. We told Emily and Gabriel that this was our honeymoon and they gave us amazing recommendations for activities. They were very respectful and responsive before and during our stay. We’re very excited to see them again!

We enjoyed our stay. However, we did not expect the bed to be that small, and it was not that comfortable for us. Also floors were cold. In addition, for the cleaning fees that we were charged you would asume everything to be clean, but dishes( plates) were dirty. Overall we were very satisfied with a stay, and would like to stay again in the future! P.S. my husband loved the toilet seat!

This place was absolutely beautiful! Right when we got there we noticed they had turned the grill on for us, some music, and the hot tub was on and ready to go! Everything was very clean and my wife said she felt like she was at a private spa. They had towels folded nicely on the bed with chocolates, and robes for when you use the hot tub. They also had some champagne , and non alcoholic drinks in the fridge. As well as cute lava cake in the freezer to make. The personal note and guest book made us feel at home! If you’re looking for a relaxing place this would be it!

As a result I decided to use this venue and stay to minimize digitally and focus on the peace and solitude of everything at the Scenic Orchard. Emily was the best host I have ever had! She made everything so perfect. She did more than any other Airbnb host I’ve ever had. It was such a nice surprise seeing what she left for us in the house. The desserts she had for us in the freezer were so good! I for real can’t stop thinking about them! The house was absolutely gorgeous and somehow even better in person. She had things set up that I would have never thought of, but they just made sense. The regular blinds and then the blackout blinds on top of that were so smart. I truly did love every minute of my stay and she made it so special. The only thing I would note is to bring bug spray!! I don't always leave reviews....This place is really special, and Emily pays attention to the details. It was my girlfriend's birthday and Emily made sure to make it special for us with unique birthday amenities, including lava cakes and a polaroid camera, and extremely quick response times to all our questions. We accidentally broke a wine glass and she offered to have a new one sent over to us. The place is intelligently designed and perfect for a quiet getaway. Emily had her team keep the long driveway periodically plowed for us during the snowfall and helped us troubleshoot our wifi. We would most certainly stay again and have recommended it to all of our friends as one of our favorites. Cheers Emily and anyone taking a look at this listing, you should book it!

amazing views, fresh air, well designed placed, the bathroom is amazing warm seat/lighting, etc. would totally stay here again in the beginning of October to catch more of the beautiful leaves before they all fall off.

Great getaway site off the beaten path! If you bring food, you can just stay on site for rest and relaxation, and enjoy the surroundings. Gorgeous in fall. Wonderful lodging with so many thoughtful touches.

Emily’s place is beautiful. Perfect for a couples getaway and for us it was the first time away with out our daughter since she was born. Waking up to the views of the orchard was amazing. The greeting card and amenities were such a nice and warming touch. Emily also made awesome suggestions for local places. Go to Nostro in Utica and absolutely get the garlic bread! We will definitely be back again!

This place is AMAZING! Ever detail is perfect - Emily’s taste is impeccable. The outside space is perfect for relaxing, the views are incredible … it was hard to leave during the day, I just wanted to relax and enjoy the space! It’s tiny, but so we’ll-apportioned that you just end up loving its coziness. I would highly recommend!

The Scenic Orchard is just perfect! Beautiful property and perfect for seclusion, but with plenty of little adventures nearby should you want them. Emily’s attention to detail is present throughout the experience - from the stay itself to her communication and suggestions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated such a great host and hope to visit again!
